By default Adobe FlashPlayer is set to 'Allow Adobe to install updates' To check, go to Apple > System Preferences > select FlashPlayer To change that setting, click the Updates tab > then tick the button next to the desired setting. If it is in your System Preferences as shown above, then it was most likely migrated from your old system and is OK.
